Superlok Plug Installation Instructions: When installing a Superlok tube fitting plug (used to seal off an unused port in a tube fitting body), make sure the system has been depressurized and is safe for maintenance.
Remove the nut and ferrules from the port of the fitting you wish to seal off, tighten the plug finger-tight, then secure the fitting body with a backup wrench and turn the nut 1/4 turn from finger-tight (or 1/8 turn for 1/16, 1/8, and 3/16 inch 2mm, 3 mm, and 4mm sizes). Plugs can be reused many times. When reinstalling a used plug, secure it finger-tight, then tighten slightly.
